Bell curveholin

Whenever you have any redistribution of a human population...

the graph always forms a bell curve... naturally 🍀

Take for example the average height.

It naturally forms a bell curve where most people are just the same height.

This obviously applies to almost all...

if not all attempts...

to differentiate a large group of people based on a chosen metric.

Introducing...

Political ideologies

If you asked all of the people Left vs. Right

and develop a real genuine questionnaire.

You would find out that most people are somewhere in the middle.

It is very rare to be extreme left.

It is very rare to be extreme right.

The media and especially social media make it seems like...

everybody is a fcking political fanatic...

but the exact opposite is true.

Most people just want things to be affordable and have fun in their free time.

They are not trying to overthrow the government.

That is true for both sides.

If someone is willing to pick up a phone and record a video about their political opinion. And post it online. You have to understand that person is already decided. That person holds quite strong political beliefs that they wanna share with the world.

Again... most people are not like that.

Most people are somewhere in the middle.

If someone is willing to pick up their phone and type a nasty comment that you are a fcking retard if you don't vote for this or that person.

Again... most people are not like that.

Most people are somewhere in the middle.

Why do people vote left n' right??

Whether you vote for the candidates on the left...

or whether you vote for the candidates on the right.

All of that is mostly predetermined.

You don't really have a choice... 😅

Allow me to explain...

Your political beliefs are influenced from within and from outside sources.

When we talk about inner influence. We usually are talking about your personality traits. (OCEAN) And when we talk about outside influence we are usually talking about the cultural influence surrounding you.

Cultural influence...

You are the reflection of your 5 best friends.

That is true for political beliefs as well.

If you have grown up in California and live there your whole life...

It is safe to say that you are very likely to vote blue.

On the other hand...

If you have grown up in Texas and live there your whole life...

It is safe to say that you are very likely to vote red.

That is what we mean when we say cultural influence.

It is the influence of your surroundings.

Personality traits

They obviously play a bigger role.

I would guess 60% inner influence vs. 40% cultural influence.

That is why even in the most liberal states you still will have people voting for Republicans and vice versa in the most Republican states you will still find people who vote liberal.

I personally believe that other than small changes during puberty. Your personality states the same throughout your entire life.

The saying...

"If you don't vote blue when you are young. You don't have a heart.

And if you don't vote red when you are older you do not have a brain."

That is a myth.

People mostly vote the same their entire life.

My point is...

There is absolutely no reason for you to be mad at your neighbor that he or she is not voting for the same candidate as you are.

Yes most people are in the middle, but the cultural influence of each state makes it that most states always vote in the same direction.

There are only a couple of states that swing around there preference.

There is absolutely no point in hating your neighbor...

just because he doesn't have the same opinions as you do.

Each election year the media is desperately trying to divide and isolate the country into two fighting blocks. It's pathetic and easy to see through.

Trust me you have much more in common with your neighbor than you might think.

So... no more hating and more thinking instead... 😅

Who are the swing voters??

First of all, only half of the general population even decides to go to the polls. Which is still high. In some countries, only 30% of the population participates. They are just completely disinterested in politics as a whole.

The legacy media is always trying to pain the narrative that if this candidate wins or that candidate wins, it is the end of the world as we know it.

But that is obviously not true.

Both the left and the right try to scare people. They always try to frame the other candidate as the worst thing that will ever happen so that people are motivated to show up and vote.

But yet again... that is just not the reality... 😅

So... who the swing voters really are??

They are normal working Americans who don't normally care about politics at all. And once in 4 years, stupid fcking campaign ads start to show up everywhere they go. And the annoying coworker at work won't stop yapping about this or that candidate.

And even though they really don't even like... talking about politics...

They are being sucked into the topic against their will. 🙄

Trying to make you pick sides like on children's playground??

annoying??

innit?? 🙃

...

Moral values

When there are only two choices possible, it is natural for people to automatically start picking sides and fully believe everything one side says. And fully disagree with what the other side is proposing.

Most people are somewhere in the middle. They agree with some stuff on the right and they agree with some stuff on the left.

When we are forced into the herd mentality of "picking sides" we often start ignoring the points that we agree with but have been proposed by the other side. And we amplify and focus on the talking points and proposals of the side we agree with.

During this process, we often start to compromise our own moral values.

It is actually a part of true awakening to be able to see that and recognize that.

It is important not to back down from our moral values just because we don't like the other side. We have to stand up for what is right and for what is moral.

Peace ☮️
